Calling nurses! Need your reviews!
So I’m trying to cast a wide net and ask around on the internet. So this is not pregnancy related at all.
Had a phone interview with a Medely recruiter today. They’re offering $8 more per hour than my current job.
The way it works: you have an app on your phone, sign up for a shift at an ambulatory surgical center nearby where just the zip code is listed. You don’t see the name of the facility until after you sign up, which you have 24 hours to cancel.
I have 2 years ER experience. They tell me I’ll be doing a lot of pre and post op work. Conscious and moderate sedation. Airway management is part of the knowledge required.
Anyone ever hear of this agency? Ever work for them?
Thoughts?
They expect you to show up for the shift and just work at a place you’ve never been to before. Maybe a brief tour happens but that’s it.
She said they get a lot of ER nurses and they don’t have any issues with pre and post op
