My baby still spits up after feeds. How many babies still have reflux and when does it end? My doctor wont give her nothing for it because she gaining weight, but I'm tired of her constantly vomiting.

My son is gaining weight but is also on Xantac. She said we can start weaning him off of it closer to one year old. It helps him a lot!

Ours eased up around 4.5 months when he stared sitting up and I introduced solids (pediatrician said he was ready). Now at 6 months he eats solids everyday and sits up well on his own he only spits up once a day or so. Nowhere near what he used to do.

My baby has reflux and was having a hard time gaining weight. The doctor was *really* hesitant to give us medication because she said the newest research is showing the medication can mess with the gut biome and cause things like food allergies or other digestive problems later in life. We did end up getting medication because of how severe it was and how much she was struggling. But the doctor wanted us to wean her off it ASAP. We've almost completed the weaning process. My baby still spits up a little once or twice a day, but only if I don't burp her enough. She is gaining weight again, thank goodness.

My son had reflux bad we could move him or he would spit almost all of it up but he was gaining weight so the doctor wasn’t worried but since starting him on baby food it’s gotten 100 times better he has his bottle then baby food then jumps in his jumper and doesn’t spit up at all! when we practice tummy time or sitting up then he will spit up a tiny tiny bit but nothing compared to what he was before we started baby food
