This may be tmi to ask but! 
Do you have an orgasm before being penetrated? 
It helps a ton. My man is well endowed as well and let me tell you if I don’t relax A LOT it’s all gonna be sore the next couple of days. I love it rough too and I have to relax a lot. Also make sure you have lube!! I always thought I didn’t need it until I spoke to my dr about the soreness. Now I add some pretty much around the whole area and it’s really brought down the soreness. Still sore but a little less 😉
