How does a mastitis feel or a clot?

I have been having a burning stabbing pain in my left breast. It comes and goes. I have no idea if it's a clot or mastitis. Can someone tell me so I know what I should be doing to resolve it. Thank you ladies!

I’ve gotten clogged ducts, they hurt like that and can get worse. Is there a lump? Not much to do for them other than try to keep the breast drained, warm compress, massage them and let hot water run over it. Lasts a couple days before getting better.

You will know if you have mastitis because you get very sick. Pumped milk has strings in it. It is caused by a blocked duct then milk backs up into the tissue and the tissue gets infected.

Could be thrush, could be your letdowns, does it happen when you feel your milk fill up, if so, you could possibly have a strong letdown.

Sounds like it’s just a clogged duct. Try massaging it and pumping. That’s how I unclog mine! 🤠

Try massaging the area. With mastitis you will experience other symptoms.. and probably have a fever
