Am I a horrible person
If I choose not to spend the upcoming holiday with family but instead just my core (myself, my husband and our child) does that make me a terrible daughter? There has recently been a lot of passive aggressive behavior coming from my mom due do some hard truths recently resurfacing. I don't want to subject myself or my family to that negative, but I also don't want to take the experience of family traditions away from my son.
