Smoking spouse

My husband just started smoking within the last 5 months. Not all the time but when he has a pack of cigarettes he’s a chain smoker. When I met him he was a health nut, and never smoked because it’s unhealthy and full of chemicals. We’ve been married for 5 years and I’m 22 weeks pregnant. We have two younger children as well and they tell him “Daddy smoking is bad, you can die.” “Daddy why are you killing yourself.” Stuff like that... anyways. I’m tired of it. I NEVER wanted to date someone who smokes, which then leads up to marriage. I threw out the pack of cigarettes that he had, broke them and everything. He leaves the butts on the stairs outside, which is unhealthy for kids, animals, and Earth. He says “this is the new him and people change.” That its immature for me to leave him over smoking cigarettes. He told me about two three weeks ago that he was going to quit because he knows it’s unhealthy, and that I don’t like it. Well he bought a pack on Saturday and supposedly someone “gave him a pack at work” on Tuesday. I’m seriously over it and his rudeness. We live overseas and I’m just tempted to leave once we get back and I’m situated in a job.

Since he started smoking I’ve noticed he’s been more on edge and easier to flip out over things. I told him that the cigarettes are already getting to him and taking over his body. He just simply said well “welcome the new husband of yours.”
