Do you think I'm crazy for stop taking my birth control?

I have been on birth control for over 10 years and I now have stopped taking it. I don't like the way I feel when I am on birth control and all of the side effects. I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years and he understands why I stopped. My friends said they think I'm crazy and going to get pregnant. I have glow so I keep track of my cycle and we always use a condom. What do you all think? Help me out! LOL Am I crazy?

I got off birth control for the same reasons and I've been using condoms for years and it's been great for me. I'm very in tune with my body. 
Just make sure you're super strict with condoms and you'll be fine!

I was scared to stop taking it too and was on it for 10 years. Your friends are wrong lol. If you track your cycle and you’re still careful during your ovulation time you probably won’t get pregnant. I have been off for almost a year and no accidents. And my body feels so much better!

Are you okay with the possibility of getting pregnant? Because if not, you need to remove that possibility. But if it would be fine to have a kid, then you do you.

I’m in the same boat as you. Birth control messes with my periods (and most likely my hormones) too much. I also don’t like putting extra hormones into my body. I’ve been doing it for about 10 years and I’m done. 
I’m now trying natural family planning and I’m glad I am because it’s pretty nice getting to know your own body more. It’s getting to know a part of yourself more. 
I’m with a long term partner so condoms aren’t needed (apart from ovulation phase). I’m still at the learning curve with all this but I’m 100% prepared for unwanted pregnancy and abortion.

There's always other forms of birth control. They don't all effect you the same way. For example Depo made me suicidal and Mirena, we'll I feel the same way I did without birth control

I don’t use birth control either. I’ve tried just about every kind and they were awful. There is a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I recommend it!

If you don't want kids still you can get a non hormonal iud

No. Your body. I felt so much better off birth control. However make sure you use condoms. I tracked my fertility and used condoms on my fertile days and now I’m 26 weeks pregnant.
