Where does everyone currently live? Some likes and dislikes of where you live, cost of living, etc.

I currently live in California with my husband and son. I've lived in 2 other states besides california. I think the only good thing about California is that a lot of state agencies are hiring like crazy. There are more bad things about California that I've been observing over the last few years such as huge wildfires, which are making mine and my son's breathing problems worse, cost of living is increasing, fuel is incredibly expensive, etc. The list goes on about bad things.
