Flu vaccine while pregnant?

I’m 25 weeks pregnant and being told I should get the vaccine. I have never had the flu vaccine and haven’t had the flu since I was little.

I’m concerned the vaccine may hurt the baby.. I am not against vaccines at all, just a concern I have.

Have you lady’s had the vaccine while pregnant and baby and you were fine? Every pregnant woman I have talked to has not had it done......

Thank you Ladies for all the responses. I decided to get it done this morning. My arm is a little sore 12 hours after the injection. I think I started freaking out because of the needle, and was trying to find an excuse to not get it. At the end of the day, I want to make sure my son and I are as healthy as we can be, knowing he will be born in the heart of flu season I want him to be protected, meaning I needed to take the needle for him since he will be to young to get it himself.
