My son sleeps in a bassinet in our bedroom but he is probably going to be too big for it in the next month or two so I want him to get used to his crib before he ABSOLUTELY has to be in it. I’ve been trying to put him in the crib for naps during the day instead of the bassinet but it just results in him not napping! He either gets upset and cries the whole time or he gets excited because it’s new surroundings and kicks and giggles the whole time. No matter which reaction he has pretty much the minute I pick him up he crashes and sleeps in my arms.

I feel like instead of getting him used to sleeping in a crib, he’s going to form a habit of only napping in my arms.

No question here, just venting my confusion/frustration
