Anyone’s else baby barely cries or doesn’t cry at all when they get hurt?
My son barely cries. He doesn’t cry during shots, he gets a little bit angry when he gets the second shot but doesn’t cry. He smacks his face with toys in his hand, when he is standing with support and loses his balance and falls flat on his butt or he just happens to fall on his back when he is sitting, he just looks at me like okay what just happened mom, did you see that? 😂 he was taking a bath and I drained all the water out and he was crawling and slipped and smacked his eye off the bathtub and he cried for maybe a min or less... he was pulling on my phone charger and the phone came down and smacked him in the head and he cried until I picked him up and he just stopped... he will cry when someone restrains him, when he was about 2 months he had to get the hemoglobin test and they had a hold of his foot to get blood from his heel and he just cried and freaked out! When I hold him and he wants out of my arms and I don’t put him down in fast, he will scream his head off! He stood up on the couch today and he leaned over and fell over the edge, right there is a jumperoo so he smacks his mouth off the plastic and falls down to the floor! He cried so hard but it was only for a min. I also wrote another post about him falling off the couch because I just needed to get that off my chest. Anyways, does anyone else’s baby basically not cry at all or not as much or as you expected when they get hurt? I just want to make sure it’s normal... when he does hurt himself, I don’t overreact to it. I just look at him and tell him that it’s okay and he will be okay. If he cries for that little bit then I will pick him up but then he stops because I repeat over and over with a calm voice thats it’s going to be okay and that mommy has him. he is also so strong! He literally picked up the bottom on his sit to stand walker and he put an 8 pack of 12 oz mt dew bottles on his lap.. no joke!!! He also pulls chairs towards him & away from him and he pulls his old rock n play (it’s folded up) out underneath his swing to across the floor. I just cannot believe how much babies have strength!!
