CURED!!! Rock N Play addict? *Update*
Give it to me straight ladies. Baby girl just turned 3 months. Sleeps through the night in the Rock N Play (RNP) - usually 7-8 hrs.
Feeling mom guilt and anxiety and I know she needs to be in the crib. She's already in her own room (tiny house, she's just in the next room). Feel free to tell me all the reasons this is bad so I can stay motivated to make this change lol
Any tips or tricks for the transition? Should I let her fall asleep in the RNP and then try and move her? she doesn't nap during the day unless I'm holding her typically.
Please help!
***update***
I've read enough online to convince me her 3 month bday (tonight) is a good time to go cold turkey- no more RNP. Currently have her crib sheet tucked inside my shirt because I read if it smells like me that could help 🤣😂 Fully preparing myself for some sleepless nights, we'll see! Wish me luck, pray for us, send good vibes, Care Bear rays, anything!
Update 11/16***
I can't even believe it but I waited until she was super deep asleep like 11:15 when she's normally in bed by 10 or 1030 . Laid her down in the crib and she slept for 7 hours straight !!!!my girl is a rockstar! So proud.
I'd be shocked if it's this easy, but we aren't going back to the RNP. Thanks for the encouragement ladies!
