Too young?

Question

Is there an age where they won't insert one? I know I am only 15/16 but I am very sexually active and don't trust/believe in birth control pill hormones. Can I still get one inserted?

I got mine when I was 17. Also they have made an IUD that is meant for young women it's called Skylar. But I would still talk to your parents and doctor about going on any type of birth control.

I do not think so I had mine put in when I was 16 it was a very deal to my parents but you should talk to your doctor. My doctor gave me the okay and I got it put in. The biggest thing is parental consent my mom was okay with because she had me at 16 and I told her I didn't want kids in my teens. Just be honest and look at all your IUD options do the research yourself first and then talk with your doctor.
