How did you tell your parents you were pregnant?

How did you tell your parents you were pregnant and how old were you ??

First baby I called or texted my dad. My parents live in different states. I sent a package to my mom and sister with a copy of the ultrasound, a couple pacifiers and a cute note. I told them not to open it without each other and to call and let me know if they liked it lol. I told my grandpa a few days after we found out. I think that was the best reaction, he just got a huge grin on his face. I was 21. He was 23, we had just gotten married 4 months prior. Baby #2 we took a picture of us 3 with the ultrasound picture and sent it to all the parents and grandpa. I was 23 he was 25.

My dad is hardly in the picture and my mom died, so I just have my inlaws. We simply said 'hey, we are having a baby' with our first. I had suffered a miscarriage 3 months prior so they knew we were trying. I was 29. 
Now I'm 32. We just announced to them we are expecting again. This time, we used our daughter to tell them 'mommy has a baby in her belly.' Much cuter coming from the mouth of a 3yo.

We just tested that morning and my mom happened to be coming over to come get me for lunch. Me and my husband go out and say hi and she says she is there to kidnap me and my husband says she will be charged with kidnapping two. Haha. And this time around I was so nervous to tell my parents  but my husband was there with another awkward transition. We were talking about new Netflix shows while eating father's day dinner. And then my husband goes oh did you tell them you are pregnant again. Haha. Dinner over for me to say the least. He couldn't have let me enjoy me food first. Ugh.

I was 25 when I got pregnant. I was having an issue with my hip and so I went to the doctor, but I’d found out I was pregnant that morning. I stopped by my parents house on the way home from my appointment and told them I’d just been to see the doctor, and they asked why, so I said it was for a few things, one of them being a problem with my hip. They were asking what the doctor had said and stuff and I said that ideally they’d X-ray it but couldn’t at the moment. My mom was like “oh no, why?” so I was like “well that’s the other reason I went to the doctor... Looks like you guys are going to be grandparents!”. It was pretty cute, I’m not really close with my parents so being there and catching up and telling them without a big fuss just seemed like the best way.

When I took a pregnancy test I called my mom. My husband was in bed early for work the next morning my mom was sleeping so I called her told her first then I was still on the phone with her woke my husband up and he was so out of it and he didn’t know what to say lol. Let’s just say it was funny.

I was 15 when I got pregnant. My mom was cooking dinner and you know the typical Hispanic mom music-dancing and cooking❤️ I sort of told her that I needed to talk to her and for her to sit down. She did and then I let the bomb out.. she didn’t believe me at first, yet when she saw that I was serious she got pissed 😤then she got really supportive. Mind you I think what hurt more was that my older brother didn’t want to speak to me. Now I have a 9yr old healthy boy and happily married( before you ask -yes it’s my sons father). I graduated and I’ve always been very self reliant so I managed without bothering anyone to take care of my son.. either it was me or my husband careing for him or day care that we paid. The emotional support that my mom gave me was the strongest ever- maybe if I didn’t have the mom I have some things may have been different. As for my mother in law - she was sort of expecting for me to abort😡I let her know really soon that that wasn’t for me. ( I have always been very upfront - that’s one of the reasons why my husband and I have lasted-honesty without bullshiting or sugarcoating stuff) Now she is really attached to my son and she regrets ever even thinking about that possibility.

I was 26 and married. My parents came over and my husband was wearing a shirt that said "Be nice to me, my wife is pregnant". They figured it out 😂 my mom had already guessed it though!

Texted it to my  mother, we have no bond so I didnt care about her reaction. I was 20!
