Baby sleeping alone??

Hello beautiful mommies, I’ve always read a lot of other posts in our group but this is my first time posting, so please be nice. Lol my little one is 4 months and 1 week old and he’s been sleeping in our room since birth. Which naturally has made me and his dads love life non existent. Our original plan was to wait 6 months until we let baby sleep alone but now he’s sleeping through the night I’m thinking maybe sooner then later. I would love any advice on transitioning and when you guys let baby sleep in separate room? Or should I wait until 6 months? Thanks in advance 💙💙💙💙💙💙

6 months is recommended, but honestly...SO many mums put baby in their own room earlier than that. We’re looking at transitioning around 5 months. Do it when you’re ready. Also, you can totally get it on while baby is sleeping!

We transitioned at one month. My husbands alarms would wake baby and no one was having a good sleep and my husband is a loud sleeper lol! So he went into his room in a crib 1 month exactly , before that was a pack n play in our room. 
First nights hard after that it’s a breeze ! We all slept a million times better then all waking each other up all night . It may be hard but just do your best take it slow if needed , be patient I know some babies can be tough to transition , and relax !😁

Baby slept in his room by 2 months if not sooner. He’s too noisy. First he’s in our room until his first bottle, then I feed him and put him in his room. If you have a monitor. The first night is scary but you’ll be fine

I moved my first to his crib at 14 weeks and he did fine.  He was sleeping through the night. July baby is 16 weeks and still in bassinet because I'd like to wait til she's sleeping through the night. Hoping that will happen soon...

We are thinking the same thing! I’m so scared to have her be away from me, but she’s soooo loud🤣And she’s a light sleeper, so having sex with her in the room sleeping isn’t an option😩My babe is only 15 weeks, so we are thinking around the 4 month mark next month as well. I want the owlet before though honestly. I’m a worrier, and already have sleeping issues, so her being away in the other room will be both nice and scary for me!

I’ve had my daughter in her room at 1 month but one of us is always in there to sleep with her. She’s not sleeping through the night yet though. But if your LO is sleeping through the night and you have a monitor, I don’t see a reason why you can’t? She sleeps in her room during naps all the time and we have the monitor on.

I honestly think it’s when you think you and the baby are ready to make that transition. My first two kids, I didn’t wait until 6 months. My third was a surprise right after we moved into our house so he will be in our room for a while.

We will be transitioning at six months. I want LO to get through 4 month sleep regression and we are doing a lot of travel for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's hard at first to have sex near baby but you can always go out on the couch or turn up the white noise machine all the way so you don't hear them as much.
