I realized with my first that it's actually easier to pack two bags. One a labor bag with stuff you want during labor or right away: camera, stuff to read if labor is slow, etc. I put the other stuff is a larger bag for later. Like I don't really need my robe or other clothes for labor. It made things easier for my husband to just leave the bigger bag in the car until we got settled in our room after the baby arrived. Just something some of you may want to think about.
