PP smell??

I feel like I smell like a dead animal! I’m about 2 weeks PP but I can’t stand it! I spoke to my doc about it and she said it’s normal?? 
I shower as often as possible with a newborn.. I change the pad every couple hours and it’s still bad!!
I only had a first degree tear.

It’s your body telling your baby where you are. Your baby can smell you from 10’feet away. It’s a protective, biological response.

Yeah it is naaaasty. Everything you read online says it’s not normal..but it totes is...as long as there aren’t any other signs of infection.

That happens after labor...i had it for like 3 or 4 months. It does go away. I felt the same way you do. Nothing you can do.

I had it and it was awful. It got a LOT better when I stopped bleeding around 6 weeks, and at 2 months it either went away or I stopped noticing it. But it grossed my hubby out for awhile 😩

Yeah I hated it too but it is in fact normal and it goes away!!
Just one of those things no one talks about when it comes to post party lol

Me too! It’s disgusting!!! There have been many times where I think something around me smells bad before I realize it’s me! No amount of showering helps 😭 2 weeks PP here too.

I had scar tissue form from my episiotomy ... it smelled horrible ! I let it ride for about 5m because I was so embarrassed but apparently it’s common- they just freeze burn it off. I’d go talk to your OB.
