So last year I destroyed my ex's car while I was drunk when we got I into an argument...crazy I know. He never pressed charges or asked me for the money. Ive spoken to him recently and he is having car troubles (not related to what I had already done to the car) it's getting cold and he has two kids...I feel I should give him what I owe in damages that I caused at least so he can use it to get his car fixed. I genuinely feel bad about what I did...should I help him ?
