Hi! Choices of milk during pregnancy?

Hi! Which milk do you guys prefer for pregnant women? Or do we really need milk during pregnancy?

I don't drink milk but calcium is important so I eat/drink a lot of yogurt, some hard cheese and my prenatal vitamins have 25% of the needed daily doae of calcium.

My ob recommended I switch to almond milk. I had low iron levels, just above anemic. And cows milk can inhibit iron absorption.

Idk if you necessarily need milk but you do need a lot of calcium. I take extra calcium in addition to my prenatals.

I drink the 2% lactaid. My stomach is weak to milk and that lactaid stuff is awesome. Expensive though....

Before the days of needing to drink lactose free ( I drink skim LF), i was a full cream milk drinker all the way. Better taste. I drink a glass of milk every day

I use unsweetened almond milk - same amount of calcium half the calories... I gain weight effortlessly so this is important to me

I LOVE whole milk but have weaned myself down to 1%.
