I tested positive on a Saturday (vvvfp) and negative on Monday bleeding Tuesday

I took a test on the 7/6 which was positive and two more later on that following week. And then on 7/13 I started bleeding and called my doctor and she had me do a blood test and my results indicated hcg of 5 when i was at 4.5 weeks, she said that the blood test was essentially negative since the hcg level was so low. I took an at home test while I was waiting for results and it came up positive. I have been bleeding since Thursday morning though. Does my cycle go back to "normal" since this bleeding is lasting/acting like a period?

Have you gone to the doctor? I had one last month. I got my positive on a thursday. On saturday i started bleeding. My lines didnt complete go away until i was done bleeding. How many tests did you take?

A chemical is a miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant or less. Any longer than that and the term is early miscarriage. 
My chemical... I tested negative on a Wednesday and started bleeding Saturday. It can take your body a few days to realize what happened. 
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you get your sticky rainbow really soon! I know a lot of ladies who've had chemicals concieve very soon after (I did, too).
