How many gifts are you getting your kids this Christmas?

How many gifts for Christmas are you getting your children? I personally have 2 kids, one will be almost 6 months by Christmas and then my 3 year old. Trying to get an idea on how much to get. Mainly for my 3 year old 🙂 COMMENT IF YOU WOULD LIKE, let’s please be respectful of others answers!!!

My husband and I are teachers with 4 kids. We are doing books, clothes, and 2-3 toys each. They do not need more crap they won't play with (I'm just talking my own kids not anyone else's). I'm already dine since I went to our Just Between Friends sale a month ago. And on Christmas Eve we will do matching pjs probably and a new family game or movie like we usually do.

We are a one income family and money can be tight. Our 3 and 10 month old will get 2-3 but our 12 year old may just get one he wants the more expensive toys. We try to spend the same on each kid

We did somewhere around 10-12 gifts for my son last year and probably 17-20 the year before that, but he didn’t play with basically any of them after the first two to three days both years. This year we are doing 4. (He just turned 3) 
1. Big kid bike, because he’s growing out of his tricycle that he rides daily. 
2. Skateboard, because he loves his daddy’s old skateboard he found in the garage.
 
3. Blanket with collage of pictures of him with his family members, because he loves looking at pictures of people he knows and he loves special blankets to sleep with. 
4. 3 books, because we read him a book each every night when we tuck him in.
I wanted to choose things he would actually use since he hardly ever plays with traditional toys. I’m starting to realize that Christmas isn’t about quantity but quality and thoughtfulness, as well as spending time together.

We have two children and we buy each child three gifts. One from Santa, one from mom and dad, and the last one from their sibling. 
We do stockings also but it usually stuff like socks, funny trinkets, candy, and bubble bath/bath toys.
However they have 4 sets of grandparents as both of our parents divorced and remarried... soooo... they usually end up getting 10 gifts each minimum.

Haven't decided but most likely everyone will get 1. We do not really do gifts and they get so much from other people. So 1 gift per child is what I'm learning towards

My son will only be 9 months old for Christmas so he will be more interested in the paper and probably tear a piece off and try to eat it then crawl else where and be distracted so no point in wrapping so many gifts 😅 I would say something around 3-5 plus everyone in my family is literally buying him so much stuff already that I don’t need to add it since we live in a 1 bedroom apartment until end of July 2019 so I don’t need my house to be crowded anymore 🙂

My one year old has ten gifts, my six your old has 13 gifts, my boyfriend has 4 gifts

This year 3 each (big gifts) 9 and 7 Year old!
7 month old then, she will have 2 for the pictures. 
My SO will unfortunately be out of town , so it will be very small!

We do not have a limit lol. 🤷🏾‍♀️ However, I can pretty much guarantee that our daughter will get more than 15 gifts.
