Troubling?

I have rheumatoid arthritis idk if anyone on here does too but i wanted to know how long before your pregnancy occured? I am planning to get pregnant soon but I'm scared because I've had a miscarriage before please any comments are more than welcomed

I have RA too, my rheumatologist has altered my medication to meds that are safe to take while trying and whilst pregnant. he said that the RA won't stop me concieving but the medication might hinder conception and it could take a little longer. hope that helps a little, I'm anxious and a little worried but keeping hopeful xx

My mom has RA and lupus, undiagnosed when she had my brother and me. She had trouble getting pregnant with me and when she did, she was very sick. She was put on bed rest for 14 weeks. She then got pregnant with my brother (unplanned) and had a completely normal pregnancy. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but my doctor said I may have lupus as well. I tested negative for RA but they are both autoimmune disorders. They're referring me to a specialist. I've had two miscarriages and 1 successful pregnancy (it took me 2 1/2 years to conceive her after my first miscarriage).

It has been my understanding that women with auto immune disorders have trouble conceiving and keeping a pregnancy, but not impossible! Do you currently see a rheumatologist or fertility specialist?

I don't think that would hinder you getting pregnant. Best of luck stay positive sorry for your previous loss
