Why are fertile days green?

Question

Green means "go" in my book. But I ain't tryna get pregnant, so... Why'd they change it to green from red?

Also, why aren't period days red? I feel like that would make 10x more sense than pink. I've confused the two many times.

You probably have the wrong setting. When I wasn't TTC my fertile days were red. When we starting trying for a baby , i switched it on glow to TTC & now they are green

I actually like it green, even though we aren't trying, because when it was red i kept having trouble. My mind's first thought was red=blood=period.

I don't have fertile days on mine and my period days are pink. I am under the Avoiding Pregnancybsetting; but my birth control is set as the pill so I am technically not fertile. So not sure if that setting with the birth control choice will affect how the calendar bubbles look for you. My app is also fully updated.

Go under settings and change it to avoiding pregnancy.  The fertile days will turn red to warn you.  Under trying to conceive the fertile days are green for go make a baby.

The color green generally means fertile, so the green color tells you that you are ovulating. Think of a valley full of green grass and trees, the word that comes to mind is fertile.

I think it's just that way because most people use it TTC. I'm using to avoid as well, but it's still in there as green
