I am absolutely livid right now!

It’s 2:00 in the morning and I could not more more upset with my husband!

I was tired around 12:30am and decided to go to bed.

I was still on my phone around 1:30am when my husband came in the bedroom and asked if he could invite the neighbour over for video games and drinks.

I asked if he would be upset if I said no. He said of course he wouldn’t be upset, he just wanted to check first.

I said, “is it okay if you have him over tomorrow evening or Sunday? It’s really late and we have stuff to do tomorrow.”

He said, “of course, tomorrow is fine!”

I turned off my phone and was almost asleep when I heard him banging around in the kitchen maybe 20 minutes after he left the bedroom.

I went down and asked what he was doing...

He said, “honestly, I’ve been texting the neighbour and he’s coming over for drinks.”

I’m literally in shock! I asked if it was okay if I said no. He was cool with me saying no. He was cool with the neighbour coming over tomorrow...

He straight up lied to me, as he was texting him the whole time and he was just waiting for me to fall asleep.

I called him a liar and slammed the door. (Kind of childish I know.)

But am I overreacting here? They’re downstairs at almost 2:30am and I’m shaking I’m so mad!

We have a full day of important things to do tomorrow!
