Heating pad??

Does anyone know if it's safe to use a heating pad for upset stomach and cramps? I've been wracking my brain trying to remember but it's been 7yrs since last baby and I just can't ?

When pg you are not supposed to sleep under an electric blanket, have a laptop in your lap close to your belly, or put a heating pad on your tummy. All for reasons that these items emit electromagnetic field that is not advised for your little person. Heating pads apparently can be used on low heat on back only. Perhaps use a hot water bottle for short periods of time on the tummy?

The doctor told me it is fine but don't put it directly on your stomach.

Heating pads are fine. My nurse said just not to keep it on high for loooong periods of time.

Ive been using one for my crazy bad gas cramps. It seems to help and I know of a bunch of women who do it.
