4 month old has a cold, doesn't want to drink formula
I've been combination feeding from when baby was newborn, he now has three 6oz bottles per day and I breastfeed in between and in the night. He has a cold and today he is refusing his formula but will breastfeed fine. I've managed to get him to have 7oz so far today and have breastfed him as much as I could. How can I get the poor little sausage to take his formula?
Of course, I'm more than happy and willing to breastfeed him as often as I can, I'm just concerned that because I don't exclusively breastfeed, it's not going to be enough.
I just want him to get better 😭
Also any suggestions for anything I can do to help, feel free to add. I am giving him calpol, nasal spray, cough medicine (suitable for 3 months+), calpol plug in at night, snuffle babes vapour rub.
Giving him medicine is a freaking task and a half!
Otherwise he's happy as Larry..
