Hey can anyone give me their experiences on the shot because this has been my first round of so and my period started out as spotting but became a actual period. ( Within the span of my normal cycle time til now so two weeks.) Ive heard that this shot is bad in a sense but I haven’t gotten any bad symptoms thank god.

Things I’ve heard

- causes infertility for up to a year

- can cause excessive bleeding

Etc.

I only chose this method because I felt uncomfortable taking the pill knowing I wasn’t taking them for actual birth control reasons and only just to reduce my bed ridden cramps.
