Why am I so scared?!

36w 4d second pregnancy and im a nervous wreck!! Scared for delivery, labor, epidural, birth, after birth (bleeding), having two kids now. Why am I freaking out?! This isnt my first rodeo. Im more nervous now than I was with my first. How to I keep myself calm and not worry 😩😩😩😩

Just gave birth to my December baby last week and she was my second! I was ten times more nervous than I was last year with my first. But then when I actually was going through the laboring part and pushing, I did sooo much better. My labor/delivery was so easy last year and I was worried it’d be a nightmare this time. But I actually did more research this time around and had a different mindset to manage my pain. I had an epidural with both deliveries but this time around I truly could have gone a while longer until getting my epidural (I was at 7cm when I got it), but they were about to break my water and I didn’t want to be able to feel any of that lol so even though I was lucky to have a pretty easy delivery last time, all my preparation actually made this experience enjoyable. Pain management and dealing with the contractions was my biggest obstacle last year so that’s what I worked on this time. Good luck momma, it’s all nerves and then your body just does the damn thing!

37+4 here & being induced at 39 weeks (the 28th) due to Polyhydramnios & feeling the same over here!!!!
Baby 2 for me. My first was such an easy baby. Easy delivery. Easy everything. I’m so scared that I won’t get this lucky twice!

I’m nervous too!! This my second kid but it’s been 6 years! I feel more anxious and nervous because I feel like I know what to expect in a sense and I’m just like why did I do this to myself again lol

I’m petrified too!! Everyone keeps saying how it’ll be fine because I’ve done it before but that’s exactly why I’m scared I know it’s not all sunshine and rainbows 😂
