When do you announce pregnancy?

Just FYI - I’m not pregnant yet...first day of AF today. But if I was to get pregnant my next cycle, I would know before Christmas. I’d like to do a cute little announcement in the form of a Christmas present to my mom, but wasn’t sure if it would be premature. (Honestly...this whole question is premature since I’m not pregnant yet 😂but I just want some opinions!)

With my last pregnancy I wasn’t going to announce til birth “only close family” knew or were supposed to can’t even trust family with a damn secret. But had a lost late in my pregnancy. Not completely sure why he was a healthy baby boy until his heart stopped. But with my next pregnancy I want to announce earlier, I know some think it’s easier to cope with a miscarriage if no one knows but let me tell you it’s worse not to have people to talk when something like that happens

I’m almost 22 weeks now, and we still haven’t told some people lol 😂 of course the first person to know was my SO... then my brother, and best friend... after that I told my aunt and grandma... and we told his brother and his wife, and his sister. Other than that we haven’t bothered with telling everyone yet 😂 I figure we eventually will, I guess! But, I kinda like keeping a quiet atmosphere since if everyone knew, they’d probably be all over!! Not that it’s a bad thing but I like peace and quiet lol 😂 I already have 3 kiddos fallowing me everywhere (my oldest being 6, then 4, then 2) so you can see why I like the quite any chance I get 😂 but, I feel that theirs no right or wrong on when to announce, we honestly just wanna wait for our next scan on nov 26th before we post on social media 😁 but anywho, this is gonna be out 3rd little girl!! 💝 we only have one little boy lol he is our 2 year old, but, we couldn’t be happier!! This is her about a week and a half ago 😊💖💕

I told my mom the same day I got the positive test because she’s my rock, besides my SO lol. We told the rest of our family at 6 weeks and friends etc at 11 weeks. I say announce whenever you are comfortable with it.

We don’t plan on announcing at all on social media. The people I know I would tell immediately are my close group of girlfriends and my husband’s best friend bc they’ve been very active supporters of us through our journey. We would do an official personal announcement to our immediate families after the first trimester. Our families are the most excited about us conceiving so I want to be out of the uncertain period before informing them.
