Sexuality labels: should there be more or less?

I talked about this with a friend, and was curious of others opinions. 
For instance,  Bisexual implies being attracted to cis females and males (which I know is debatable in its self) and pansexual implies attraction to cis and trans men and women and non-binary. So if someone is attracted to cis females and ftm what would they be? Same for someone attracted to only non-binary people, or someone attracted to only binary people ( cis and trans men and women)? Also, if a girl say that are straight, you don't know if they are attracted to only cis males or only ftm, or both.  
So this got me thinking, would people prefer more labels that are more specific, or less labels and explain further when needed.

as many as people want. if someone wants a label and doesn’t feel there is one that fits them...then i’m all for developing one that suits them.

People can call themselves whatever they want but personally I feel like bisexual should include cis and trans people, I think the term pansexual is kinda unnecessary. I don’t think we need as many terms as there are.

We have all sorts of labels for jobs - you're not JUST a doctor you're a cardiologist, or general practitioner, or pediatrician, etc. We also have all sorts of labels for our relationships to others - mother, daughter, friend, sister, co-worker, customer, etc. Why can't we have tons of labels to describe our interest in other people? And if you don't like having thirty labels, you only have to identify as one or two - but don't go around saying that people who choose to have thirty are less valid or "confused"; they're making a choice on how to define themselves, just like you are.

I personally couldn't care for labels (for myself) but if someone prefers them I'm always open to learn. I think this depends on the person, label yourself what you want. Be as vague or specific as you want! I think the big disconnect is that a lot of people don't know what most of the labels or terms mean so they almost feel annoyed or frustrated. If there's healthy discussions it'll be easier to ask and answer questions.

I’m technically bisexual but I much prefer the word queer. Different people prefer different things though so it’s an individualised thing. However, having more and more options makes lgbtq+ individuals look like twats to the rest of the world so will more identities increase friction?

saying bisexuals r only attracted to cis folks is pretty problematic becus it automatically paints all bisexuals, like me, as a transphobe. cis and trans would be considered a descriptive term, like being tall or short, and not their own separate gender. so a cis woman and trans woman would still be a woman. someone who is attracted to women could possibly be attracted to them rather theyre cis or trans, becus they are a woman. a person cant automatically kno if someone is cis or trans just base off looks. but to answer ur original question, i feel like we could use less labels. i feel like micro labeling is just unnecessary and u can just say u have a preference towards a certain gender or feminine or masculine traits. like me for example, i would say im bisexual n i have a preference for masculine traits no matter their gender. but a label is up to the person themself n if they found a label that think is fitting for them, then that’s great! ☺️

Im ok with whatever people want to use to help describe their experience of their sexuality... it's very personal.
I love people being descriptive, but I feel like we wouldn't come up with enough singular words to help describe the variety of experiences... 
Even my own sexuality makes no sense to me, and even less sense because I don't think gender or sex os binary biologically, psychologically or socially.

Tbh i just say queer. I am technically bisexual but i only ever been with one person who i have been with for 6 years. But i dont feel like telling everyone everything so i just say queer.

I think you can have as many labels as you want since it's your identity, but you can't expect others to know that identity.
Honestly I'd rather just explain my sexuality or gender than try to find a label that won't be totally true. I'm not going to create a niche name for it though. There's so many ways to be attracted to someone it would be a mess. I can think of ten people that would need a seperate label alone and almost nobody else would have that label.
