We finally just announced yesterday. We are 20 weeks and just found out on Friday we’re having a girl. She will be our first child. We are so excited. She was so squirmy during the scan and we could barely get a shot of her little face and even when we could, she was trying to cover it with her hands. Like her parents, does not enjoy getting her photo taken haha. Either way, I can’t stop looking at the ultrasound photos.

Waited a long time to do the obligatory social media post because I was job searching, but I landed a new job two weeks ago and just told my boss about the pregnancy on Friday. I feel so relieved and unburdened now that my work knows and now that we’ve been able to tell everyone that we don’t get to see in person. Now I feel like we can really get into the holidays, baby prep, baby shower, and all that fun stuff. Can’t wait until my appointment next month to learn more about how she’s doing and I’ll get to see her again because my doc wants to do another ultrasound and check on things, due to a spot she noticed on my placenta during the anatomy scan. She wasn’t worried and told me I shouldn’t be worried either, but I look forward to the monthly appointments just as reassurance that everything is okay. Baby girl is gonna hate it though, because I don’t think she likes the ultrasound wand haha.

Can’t wait to meet her on or around 4/5/19!!
