Thank goodness for friends for which I would not be having a baby shower if it wasn't for them. So this is our first baby and it took us a year to conceive and our families know how much we wanted a child. That being said none of them except for my mother and my sister are coming to baby shower. They all say it is too far it is only an hour and we are literally in the middle of everyone. However for every holiday and family get-together we drive to other people's homes. It's very frustrating over 50 people were invited only 13 are attending and the ten friends most of them I've known for less than 2 years. I just wish our families would put in a little more effort.
