Bumps on 3 week olds face

So these bumps have popped up within the last week. I started noticing them a few days after switching his formula tonthe enfamil infant per drs orders... Some have what seems to be puss and others are very red..they all look painful and are rock hard. He has another appt on Wednesday but just curious what it could be
