When did your child become potty trained?

I'm trying to potty train my son. He is 2 and will be 3 in December. I've tried just about everything. I've been trying to potty train him every since he turned a little bit after one. He use to say when he had to urinate. Now he doesn't even say anything at all. Especially when he has to do the #2. Any suggestions at all? I'm tired. Soooooooo tired.

My son is 2 and 1/2 and we have been accident free for 2 weeks! He would pee in the potty but not poop. I made this for my son and "mailed" it to him. Ever since has done great! He even took it to the potty with him for a couple days! He LOVES hulk!

I got lucky. my son was in daycare with am almost 3 year old boy when he was 2. the older boy was being potty trained and had to pee when they were playing outside, so he peed on a tree. my son followed. and ever since that day he used the toilet. basically my babysitter at the time had him potty trained while I was at work.

Boys are hard. The easiest thing for me was when they started to get the hang of it. Put them in underwear, it's easier for them to just pee in a pull up bit with underwear on they know they will get wet and they don't like it

My oldest son self potty trained at 11 months old. Best thing ever!! My youngest didn't potty train till two and a half :( I'm hoping this one will potty train early to. Try pull ups and a reward system. A lot of the pull ups now a days have patterns that disappear when wet or they feel different when wet. Also if your pregnant again or there had been a major change/event on his/ your life regression is normal.

My 3 girls were each trained by the age of 2. My boy was almost 4. Each kid is different, but I truly believe boys are harder, because they just don't really care...well, mine didn't.

4 yrs old she was late but the day I took the diapers away she didn't even need to be waken up to go per at night

I didn't vote - my oldest was 18 months when he was potty trained, my youngest was 3yrs old (we are in our second month of being 100% day and night trained!). My youngest stayed in pull-ups at bedtimes, however my oldest went straight to underbritches 24/7 even on a 10hr car ride with no accidents.

My oldest step son didn't get potty trained until after he turned 3, and we are now working on his brother who just turned 2. It was their mothers idea and honestly I think it could wait. He's been training for 3-4 months and not really getting very far. I would say wait until they seem interested and take it slow. It may take a while but it is easier when they can talk and tell you.
