Long periods, how long is too long?

Background. I’m 22 and have PCOS. I went a couple years without getting a period at all (18-20). Then I started getting it every couple months usually every 3-4. Then all of a sudden i got it September and October. The problem is I got it October 23rd and it lasted until November 14th. And now, November 18th, it’s back! What the bloody hell is happening?! Any advice??

Right there with u. Finally went to dr. Yesterday.  Bloodwork tomorrow morning then depending on bloodwork. Next steps are rx progesterone to reset my cycles. Basically a hormone DNC I guess. Or ultrasound to check fibroids and check for endometriosis, cysts, etc. And haven't had a pap since 3.5-4 years ago. So also need to schedule that. I find it I can steer away from sugar and caffeine my cycles are better. Blood pressure meds slow the bleeding too. Aleve etc. Makes bleeding worse. On day 24 of flow now. Only15 days  since previous cycle ended after 21 day flow.  Typically 11-17 days every month and half and lighter. So not sure what the heck just changed. Menopause maybe for me. I will be 40 in Jan.

See a doctor. I have PCOS and that happened to me as well. Went 2 years without one which isn’t healthy, then got it every few months, and then started lasting longer with fewer breaks in between. Started seeing my current gyno and she put me on birth control for a while to regulate it until I got a blood clot from the hormones... Then I started metformin, exercising and eating better which all seemed to help.
