How often do you text/call/see your partners family?

I am curious to see what others have to say about this. I will start off by saying that I consider myself a bit antisocial and introvert so that might explain why I don’t feel the need to contact my MIL or SIL. I must admit, not even once have I reached out to contact them but I’ve always replied politely if they have sent me a message. We meet when needed and that’s pretty much it, I don’t want a closer relationship with them 🤷🏼‍♀️ You ladies might judge me, but I think I am better off without them.

Not judging. I am exactly the same way!!! I have my reasons why, but I’m also an introvert. Then there’s the whole culture difference. (I’m black hubby is white) and him and I aren’t passive when it comes to racism, our son is mixed. But his mom and sister are the type of passive nonchalant women who basically turn the other cheek. Hell his uncle (moms brother) blatantly throws around the N word. We cut him out of our lives, but the fact that his mom said nothing to him. Nope.... keep her super arms length away. Only see her about once a month and now we are moving 2 hours away from her... so yep only as needed.

Well I would say ‘very often’ but it’s not daily lol!! We see them every other week and sometime more if we have missed a week for some reason. 
I feel it’s an obligation. My SO would see them more. But this is where I draw a line. They’re too overbearing and don’t have good boundaries so I can’t take more than that. I wish it was a lot less.
