I have a light olive skin tone and my areolas turned hella dark (26 weeks pregnant), is it going to go back to their normal colour after pregnancy?

The pigmentation is even extending beyond the areola area. The nipple itself didn't really change in colour, but my areolas are so dark. Because I am olive skinned I an wondering if it is still going to go back to normal after ? I heard of some women who kept the really dark nipples afterwards. I liked my browny caramel nipples on my skin tone it looked perfect, but now they look too contrasting. Like my skin is paler and my nipples are darker so it looks like i coloured them in with a sharpie or got them tattooed  looool a bit fakish

I’ve got olive skin tone to and mine darkened and got bigger till I stopped breastfeeding my boys then they went back to there normal looking self. 😊

I'm white as can be, like I have olive undertones but I'm anemic and spend too much time inside so I'm pale as heck and my entire nipple, areola and all have gotten DARK. They were light pink and now they are super dark. Idk if they'll go back to normal but girl there's so many other things that I want to be normal way more than my nipples lmao

I'm quite pale and mine went from pale pink to super dark brown with my first and went back to being pale pink just like pre pregnancy. Although they have gone dark again with my second pregnancy. I know lots go back to pre-pregnancy colour while some never fully return to the same colour and remain a couple of shades to many shades darker.

They get darker for a reason. Babies have really poor eyesight as newborns, but they can see contrast. The contrast between your dark areola and lighter skin is what helps baby find your nipple to latch. 
For some women they fade back after breastfeeding, but sometimes they don’t.
