Halo bassinest newborn insert?

I’m really excited that we got the halo bassinest for one of our baby showers! Any other mommas out there use it? More specifically did you get the newborn insert and how did you like it? I’m really on the fence about getting it.

We had the Halo, but we didn’t use the newborn insert. Our son slept wonderfully on the regular mattress and it helped to prepare him for his crib because it was firm and flat.

We never used the newborn insert in our daughter's Halo. She slept just fine without it.👌🏾

My daughter loved the halo.  Without the new-born part.

I had it! I got it when I was trying to transition my son out of his rock n play. It helped him tolerate the bassinet because it wasn’t a huge open space, it helped him feel coddled.
