My doctor told me to wait 1 week to have sex after my IUD was put in. How log did you wait? I have the kyleena,  I think it's the smallest one?  But I'm dying.  It's been like 2weeks and the extra hormones aren't helping.

I have paraguard and was told I only needed to wait one day. Might be different depending on type /brand. Be strong doll!

My doc said wait 24 hours and that’s what we did because after two weeks we were both pretty pent up but idk if I would recommend it because everything was still tender (even a week after... from the clamping of my cervix) and I had pretty bad cramps after

I had the Nexplanon before the IUD. I had the Nexplanon removed and the IUD inserted the same day...  She still told me to wait one week though 😔 longest week ever.

Depends on when you got it inserted. I got mirena but when I got it inserted it was effective immediately for me. If they said wait a week then wait a week.

They told me I could have sex immediately. Just remember it doesn't protect against diseases.
