Is there something your SO enjoys that you tried out but don't take any interest in?

I'm sitting in the car, in the parking lot of a car show. We're supposed to be dropping off coffee for his friends. It's been at least an hour. He doesn't have a car in the show right now but I've been to a few where he was showing. They're all the same. Walk around and see the cars and you're done. You sit until the end of the show. I don't know all his friends, they're nice but we have nothing to talk about. I feel like I don't need to be here. It's my weekend too and I work all week. I also am so not into the crowd of people that goes to these things. Is it rude of me to not want to go? He's a big car guy. I'd rather be at the beach or having lunch w my family. It's summer who wants to be at a crowded convention hall in 95 degree weather?
