Dilated and swimming safe??

Question

I know this is a dumb question especially being pregnant a second time but I'm 1 cm dilated, 60% effaced, and he's stationed at -2 is it safe to still swim? I also been losing a lot of my mucus plug, I know it regenerates but just wanted to check its suppose to be in the high 90's today and tomorrow.

OB nurse here. Swim until your water breaks or you're put on bed rest.

I've only heard not to if your water breaks. You can still have sex after your mucous plug goes but not after your water goes so I would imagine it would be the same for swimming.
