Hello I've had the copper iud for about 6/7 months. Periods horrendous due to the non stop cramping and horrific blood loss. I'm not due on my period for another 11 days but woke up this morning with pinkish red blood when I went the toilet. Just wondering if this is a common 'norm' with the coil not? Doctors not open yet so would really love some feedback. Going on holiday next Friday too (my period due date but was going to get those tablets to hold it back a little) then after that I am planning to get the iud removed as I can't put up with another period whilst having it in me!
