Question...

What are you thoughts on a woman who is in a relationship or marriage having male friends. Does your husbands/BF, disapprove or are they ok with it? I didn't have much of a family growing up, so I made lots of friends make and female, and they basically became my family. I'm talking friendships that have lasted 13 or more years. My husband doesn't like me to talk or communicate with any of my male friends I had before I met him. He says that it shouldn't bother him, but it does. He feels that since I'm married, other men shouldn't be calling me or I shouldn't be interacting with any other man, because I'm married. I get where he's coming from and I respect his decision/ opinion. I'm just feeling really guilty for ending relationships with people who have basically been family and were there for me when I had no one else... Please give me your opinion, and tell me what you think. I will tell you, that I have a fantastic husband and who loves and cherishes me everyday, and and awesome marriage. He's not controlling or abusive, this issue has just been a lil bump in our road.
