Is anyone else’s family a total mess & y’all just can’t get along for shit?

no matter how hard we try, everyone is always bumping heads with each other & it’s annoying. Like we’re always arguing over something every day

The fact that humans are flawed is the main reason we cannot put our differences aside.
 Sometimes with strangers or friends people filter & are actually considerate of others feelings. But when it comes to family people feel like they can be rude, say whatever is on their minds & do what they want even if it's disrespectful because "we're family" & you just have to tolerate it. 
My family has its dysfunction but when we get together we put it to the side. 
But I decided to treat some members from a distance for my own sanity. You just have to know when enough is enough. & just because someone is family doesn't give them the right to disrespect you in anyway.
