Has anyone been induced before not for a medical reason? I have no family near by. They are all minimum an hour plus away in the opposite direction of me and the hospital... which is another hour away from my house. My husband also does a lot of traveling for work. My last labor was not an induction. I was a few days late but it was a pretty quick labor ( less than ten hours total from time I felt first contraction to time she was out.) I am much more nervous this time about childcare for my daughter with being so far from family plus being GBS possible I want to make sure I get the antibiotics. I know being induced usually isn’t the answer but my doctor is willing to induce me five days before my due date. I am highly considering it. This would ensure my daughter is with someone and I would make it to get the antibiotics. I know any labor can pose risks especially an induction. Can anyone share their experiences with me ?
