Opinion on being pregnant/ having a kid and going to school ?

I’m 19, haven’t even started school, would start in January. I just wanted to hear some opinions on this.

In my opinion, you should wait and reconsider after your first term.

I’m avoiding pregnancy until my partner and I finish our bachelors. We have 11 mo left. It’s way too much to deal with. Many whom become pregnant don’t end up finishing. Some do, but those aren’t claims that you hear everyday. I’d think twice before ttc in school.

I've seen so many people not be able to finish school because they had a child right before or during. It's hard enough to take care of yourself in college, let alone a tiny human. If you can avoid it, that would be your best. That isn't to say it can't be done, but most won't succeed.

Is it doable? Absolutely. Women do it all the time. But if you CAN wait, definitely wait. Why add on extra stress?

I feel like I can barely handle college and working part time, I couldn’t imagine doing this with a baby. I’m already up to my eyes in projects and papers and homework and exams. I know there are people that can do it successfully but it’s not something I would choose to do.
