Lana or Ella?

We are so torn! Originally chose Ella but fear that it’s too common. Like Lana a lot too, but fear that she’ll have a lifetime of people mispronouncing her name (we’d call her lawn-a). Would love any thoughts!

Lana is anal spelled backwards. Pretty name but have a friend with a 11 year old Lana and the kids in school have picked up on that fun fact.

I have a cousin named Alana and she goes by Lana! I have never heard that name other than that! I absolutely love the name. I think it’s beautiful!

My name tag at work once was “Lana” which was a nickname of mine and a guy came in and said “ah I didn’t know you were into that” and I was confused and he said “Lana spelled backwards” and I was annoyed a threw out the name tag and asked everyone to never call me that again
