Hate, hate, hate it. I don’t mean to be so harsh but it’s a car part. My childhood BFF named her son Axel and the kids at daycare can’t say it right so it sounds like “asshole” or sometimes “apple”. Do not like the name one bit.

It makes me think of a leather-clad biker or a drugged out rocker. I'm not really a fan although I know a lot of people are loving it lately. And I'm sure if I knew one in person my associations would shift over time.

I think it sounds kind of edgy, but I also think it's one of those names where people will automatically assume things or pass judgements on someone just because of their name...if that makes sense. My husband's name is Harley, which is kind of popular now, but didn't used to be. People always assume that he (or his parents) are hardcore, wild partying biker people, which is the furthest thing from the truth 😂 I happen to love his name, but he doesn't
