I just want to start crying rn

So yesterday i got a hair cut and my hair was pretty long about 7inches from my shoulders and then I got it cut so that it is only 1/2 inches from my shoulders and now I HATE it and I don't know what to do Bc it's just so short I can't even put it up anymore I I have tried every thing that it say to grow it at least an inch in a week but nothing's working and I just want to cry bc I just want my longer hair back and i don't know what to do.
