Okay guys so after weeks of researching the copper IUD, I finally did it. I got it about a month ago and if you are considering it, do it! But I’m not gonna lie, it hurt so fucking bad and I have never been in so much pain. But after like 2 weeks you start to feel better. You get it and forget about it. I just started my first period since I got it and my cramps were terrible ( which is a side effect) but cramps are better than contractions ladies. Also, it lasts up to 12 years and you can get it taken out any time. I got mine at a Planned Parenthood and they made sure I felt comfortable and they worked with me even tho I was a mess. But if you’re looking for a non hormonal, one time birth control, I recommend!
